The storyteller behind Blade & Bond is no ordinary DM.
With nearly two decades of experience running tabletop RPGs across multiple systems, Andrew Roblyer brings not just game mastery, but a rare, theatrical alchemy to the table. A lifelong GM, they’ve crafted campaigns in D&D, FATE, and indie narrative systems (and now, Daggerheart) each one tailored to the players at hand, rich in emotional stakes, immersive detail, and unforgettable arcs.
But that’s just the beginning.
They’re also a theatrical polymath: an award-winning director, lighting designer, sound designer, actor, and producer with a deep background in immersive storytelling and live experience design. They’ve built magic on stage, in simulation labs, and around campfires, and they know how to create a world you can feel, not just imagine.
They’ve led casts of 50+, designed full-length immersive experiences, produced city-wide events, and guided hundreds of students and professionals through transformational stories. Their superpower? Making people feel like they belong inside the story.
